With the new CAREZZA GTX LO on your feet, you certainly will be dynamic during your tour. To ensure you have the stability you need, the upper is made of Jaquard-woven materials. It is manu­factured in a special processing method that tightly inter­weaves textile fibres. The use of PU fibre creates excep­tional toughness in areas that are subject to heavy wear. In areas that experience less wear, other and more loosely woven fabric fibres facilitate good breath­ability. The extended lacing system and the second draw eyelet on the heel also contribute to the excellent fit of the LOW-CUT model. Comfortable wear­ability is ensured by the waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane. The func­tional concept is rounded out by the pleasantly cush­ioning LOWA DynaPU®+ midsole and sporty, deep-tread Vibram outsole.

    Why don’t we take the gondola?

    A mountain hike involves a tour in highland terrain. This is the easiest way to explore the mountains. In principle, mountain hiking is something for everyone. The tours frequently use forest trails or paths.     Fascinating climbing faces or chal­lenging via ferrata – before you can start your adventure, you have to gain a little altitude. The hike to the starting point of the rock face or the climb is called the approach. The approach usually leads across rough terrain and frequently includes some sections to scramble as well.

LOWA DynaPU®+ For a continuously good rebound effect

LOWA DynaPU®+ is used in the CAREZZA GTX LO. This is a specially developed foam padding used in the midsole of footwear. It plays a key role in the rolling prop­erties and the cush­ioning of the footwear. The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers even better recovery behaviour thanks to its special cell structure. This, in turn, creates an improved rebound effect for athletes. Even with constant use, the recovery behaviour does not lose any of its high performance qualities.

  • Good rebound effect
    The plastic called poly­urethane is a foam padding that has very good cush­ioning prop­erties. The plastic retains its form and springs back to its original condition even when its millions of tiny bubbles are frequently pressed together. This, in turn, creates a good rebound effect.

  • Good comfort
    The special material devel­opment is char­ac­terised by good cush­ioning prop­erties. As a result, walking comfort and rolling prop­erties have been noticeably increased – even during long hikes.
